Diva LaMarr’s impressive career has brought her to stages all over the country and even the high seas. Diva has proven herself not just to be a dynamic performer, but also a true star. Most recently she caused waves and ovations in the ground-breaking re-imagination of “Little Shop of Horrors” as Audrey II…as you’ve never seen or experienced her before. As a NYC Headliner, Diva has made guest appearances at The Silver Lining Lounge, The Special Club, Club Cumming, Birdland, Don’t Tell Mamas, The Friars Club (to name a few); and has appeared in many concerts from Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall to beloved cabaret venues for The Mabel Mercer Foundation and The American Songbook Association. Accompanied by Musical Director and the Songwriter Darnell White, Diva will pay tribute to this Harlem native and graduate of LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and The Juilliard School. As an MD, Darnell has collaborated with Melba Moore, Brian McKnight, Blaine Krauss, Amma Ossei, Willis White, Angela Birchett, David LaMarr, Carlton Jumel Smith, and many more! Both as a performer and resident artist, Darnell has graced the stages of New York’s major venues including 54 Below, The Iridium, Birdland, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Sid Gold’s, and more.
