Jeff Harnar, Director

He’s back (after a decade)! Broadway’s (Les Misérables, The Scarlet Pimpernel), and multiple M.A.C. and Bistro award-winning cabaret artist, Craig Rubano returns to New York City to The Laurie Beechman Theatre with Take the Moment, a collection of songs that shine a spotlight on the choices we make during the moments that matter. Craig tells the story of those thresholds of change in his life that have made all the difference, drawing from his experiences as Broadway actor, scholar, pastoral theologian, cabaret artist, minister, and goat owner (!). Directed by celebrated cabaret star Jeff Harnar, and together with Music Director Beth Ertz, along with Marc Schmied (March 15) and Jeffrey Carney (April 13 and May 19) on bass, Craig taps into music and lyrics by Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers, Stephen Sondheim, Alan & Marilyn Bergman, Jerry Herman, and more.
