WHAT’S THE WORST THAT CAN HAPPEN?
March 28 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
$20Jo Walker celebrates the wild ride of the past decade of living as an artist in New York: Pandemic? Terrible auditions? Ex-boyfriends? Somehow she’s thrived through it all. Jo sings an evening of eclectic songs from Gershwin to the Foo Fighters with a warm alto that delights, and tells true stories with her killer sense of humor. Directed by Marni Raab, with Music Direction / Piano by David Dabbon.
Jo Walker is a multi-faceted performer and storyteller. She’s performed solo cabarets in Manhattan and her comedy improv duo, Jed&Jo, plays venues in the city and beyond. Favorite on-stage roles include: Aunt Jane (Storming Heaven, West Virginia Public Theatre); Polly (Dead Flowers / Sound Bites, Signature Theater NYC); Dr. Brookner (The Normal Heart), Heidi Von Sturm (Nine), Group Leader (The Public Domain, Lincoln Center Mostly Mozart Festival). Jo speaks conversational Greek and can make almost anything out of paper thanks to her previous life in the world of design. She’s a proud member of Actors Equity, SAG/AFTRA, MAC, and the Dramatists Guild. www.jowalkeractor.com
